In order not to lose custody of her five-year-old daughter, a woman with a highly unusual condition has to hide her disability from the child.
This is a short movie that deals with a highly unusual condition: the loss of proprioception. Proprioception is the ability to perceive one’s own body, specifically the position and movement of its limbs.
6 Minus 1 comes from an idea by Kirsi Swinton, who will play the lead actress in the movie, and is produced by BAFTA-nominated production company BlindEye Films.
This is my second collaboration with BAFTA-nominated DP Arturo Vasquez, who took care of the cinematography of my award winning short movie Creation.
Production is slated to start in Summer 2019.

An odd group of desperate men and women try to navigate the jungle that is modern dating and its obsession with style over substance, all seen from the mirrors they parade in front of.
A webseries of seven episodes produced by Time Productions about modern dating, each episode shot in just one take from the point of view of a different mirror.
I co-wrote this series with Niall Bishop (Game of Thrones), who is also starring as one of the lead characters, and directed the pilot episode.
Attached to the project are: Simon Manyonda (King Lear at the Old Vic, Doctor Who), Leigh Gill (Game of Thrones) and Miranda Wilson (Days of Our Lives, St. Barbara).
